Lash menus all use the same four words — classic, hybrid, volume, mega — and almost nobody explains what they mean. They describe how many extensions go on each natural lash, and that single variable decides the entire look.
The Four Sets
Classic is one extension per natural lash. It follows the lashes you already have and makes them longer and darker, not denser. If you want the "I have naturally good lashes" result, this is it. It also carries the least weight, which makes it the safest starting point on fine or previously overworked lashes. $150, about 90 minutes.
Hybrid mixes classic lashes with small handmade fans, roughly half and half. The fans fill the gaps between your natural lashes, so the line reads fuller without looking built. This is the set most people actually want when they ask for "natural but fuller." $180, about 90 minutes.
Medium Volume uses fans of several ultra-fine extensions on each natural lash. Because each individual lash is much thinner, the total weight stays safe while the density goes up substantially. Soft, full, and still clearly lashes rather than a strip. $190, about two hours.
Mega Volume uses larger fans of even finer lashes for maximum density — a dark, dramatic lash line. It demands healthy natural lashes to carry it and the most careful application. $210, about two hours.
How to Choose Without Guessing From a Photo
Photos mislead because they show someone else's natural lashes underneath. Two people can book the same set and get different results.
Start with your own lashes. If they are fine or sparse, density has to come from volume fans rather than from heavier individual extensions — a Classic set on sparse lashes will look sparse. If they are already thick, Classic or Hybrid may be all you need.
Then be honest about maintenance. Every set needs fills every two to three weeks. Mega Volume thins more visibly than Classic when you stretch that interval, because there is more density to lose.
Finally, consider what you actually do. If you swim, work out daily, or sleep face-down, a lighter set holds up better and costs less to maintain.
Your lash artist will tell you at the appointment if the set you asked for is wrong for your natural lashes. That conversation is the point of the consultation.
Add-Ons Worth Knowing About
Lash lamination at $110 is a different service — it lifts and sets your own lashes rather than adding extensions. Good if you want low maintenance or a break between sets.
Tinting at $40 darkens the natural lashes. It matters more than people expect on light lashes, because untinted natural lashes show through a dark extension line.
Bottom lashes are $20 and are added at the appointment.
Aftercare Is Short and Non-Negotiable
Keep them dry for the first 24 hours while the adhesive cures. After that: cleanse daily with a lash-safe foam, brush in the morning with a clean spoolie, avoid oil-based products near the lash line, and never pull a loose extension — it takes the natural lash with it.
Miami adds humidity and salt water to the equation. Rinse after the beach or the pool the same day.
