Service Guide
A Russian manicure is defined by controlled dry cuticle preparation. The nail artist uses an e-file and precision tools to refine the cuticle area before shaping and product application. That preparation creates the close, polished finish clients associate with this technique.
The service is never one aggressive routine for every client. Your technician assesses the nail plate, surrounding skin, current product, and desired length, then selects the appropriate bits, pressure, and reinforcement. The goal is a clean result without compromising nail health.
Personalized Approach
Both options include detailed preparation. The difference is the amount of structure your nails need.
Flexible finish
Best for healthy natural nails that need color, shine, and a neat cuticle line without substantial reinforcement.
Added support
Adds structure and helps balance the nail profile when nails are longer, flexible, uneven, or prone to breaking.
Personal detail
Design add-ons can be reserved with the manicure so your nail artist has enough time for the requested finish.
Russian manicure suits clients who prioritize detailed cuticle work, precise shaping, and a polished finish that grows out neatly. It can work on short or long natural nails, with the product selected around nail condition rather than trend alone.
If the surrounding skin is irritated, infected, or medically compromised, postpone the appointment and speak with a licensed medical provider. Our manicure is a cosmetic salon service, not medical treatment.
Most clients return according to their nail growth and product condition rather than waiting for lifting or breakage. Wear gloves for prolonged cleaning, use cuticle oil regularly, and do not peel gel or BIAB from the nail plate.
If a nail chips or lifts, contact the salon for a repair instead of filing deeply or gluing the product at home.
Vizavi Beauty is at 3250 NE 1st Ave in Midtown Miami, inside the Wynwood Art District edge of the neighbourhood. Clients reach us easily from Wynwood, Edgewater and the Design District on foot or in a few minutes by car, and from Downtown Miami and Brickell in roughly ten minutes outside rush hour.
We work from this one studio rather than travelling to clients, so the same technicians and the same tools handle every appointment. Street parking and the Midtown garages are a short walk from the door.
The technique is unforgiving, and this is worth being blunt about: an e-file works close to living skin. Done well it does not damage the nail. Done badly — too much pressure, the wrong bit, or filing the nail plate instead of the cuticle — it causes thinning, soreness and in the worst case an infection.
What to look for anywhere in Miami, not only here: the technician works under magnification or very good light, bits come out of a sealed pouch, nothing hurts at any point, and you do not see dust coming off the surface of the nail plate itself. If it hurts, say so immediately.
We review nail condition, length, shape, and the finish you want.
